Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both as a captain and a participant of 2012's Fierce Five and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals for team and floor competitions and bronze on the balance beam. She was the first American to be awarded many Olympic medals. In the 2016, Olympics she was awarded a gold medal for the team event, which gave her and co-teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of been the first Americans to have two consecutive gold medals for the team. In addition, she was awarded silver medals at the individual all-around event as well as for the floor workout. Following the 2nd Olympics she stopped for three years gymnastics. Also, she has been part of two world championship gold winning teams. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice in the age of 2 and her favorite event is floor exercise. Aly works with her organization, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in honor and memory of her grandmother. She wants to have a successful career in the field of fashion. Leotards that she has designed, socks and other items will be expanded to include other items in the future. Fierce is a novel that she's currently writing, is due out this year.
